Mobicacrew, is an organization dedicated to providing Crew personnel selection and recruitment process to work on board Shipping Companies /SOURCING AND RECRUITMENT OF CREWMEMBERS TO WORK ON BOARD SHIPS.
Based on this Policy, Mobicacrew undertakes to comply with the principle of equal access to employment for hired crew personnel, applying the following commitments:
Not establish any discrimination, direct or indirect, based on reasons of birth, sex, origin, including racial or ethnic, marital status, social condition, religion or convictions, political ideas, disability, sexual orientation and identity, gender expression, sexual characteristics, adherence or not to unions and their agreements, disease or health condition, serological status and/or genetic predisposition to suffer pathologies and disorders, language, socioeconomic situation or any other personal, family or social condition or circumstance, as well as taking any decision that may imply a bias or negative stereotype of people for these reasons, provided that the workers are fit to perform the job or job in question.
At Mobicacrew we understand that the criteria and systems for access to employment that produce situations of indirect discrimination are understood to be discriminatory. In addition, they must avoid establishing criteria that presuppose that the recipients are old enough, young enough, or refer to their sex or disability.
Exceptionally and as long as the youth unemployment rate and the female employment rate are not equated to the total unemployment rate, it is understood that discrimination based on age or sex in the field of employment and occupation does not constitute discrimination. Configuration of specific working and employment conditions, if they are justified, objectively and reasonably, to favor access to and consolidation of employment for these groups, without, in any case, involving any other type of discrimination.
- When a discriminatory job offer is appreciated, Mobicacrew managers must communicate this fact to whoever made it.
- From Mobicacrew, offers referring to one of the sexes are considered discriminatory, unless it is an essential and determining professional requirement of the activity to be carried out. In any case, the offer referring to only one of the sexes based on demands of the job related to physical effort is discriminatory.
- On the other hand, Mobicacrew expressly recognizes and applies the right to equal treatment and opportunities for LGTBI and trans people in the workplace.
In relation to the comprehensive protection of children and adolescents against violence, Mobicacrew is expressly prohibited from giving employment in professions, trades and activities that involve regular contact with minors, to those who have a record in the Central Registry of Sex Offenders and Human Trafficking. Therefore, it undertakes to collect from whoever seeks access to the professions, trades or activities indicated in Organic Law 8/2021, that they prove that they have not been convicted by a final judgment for any crime against sexual freedom and indemnity typified in Organic Law 10/1995, as well as for any crime of trafficking in human beings typified in title VII bis of the Criminal Code, by providing a negative certification from the Central Registry of sexual offenders.
In the case of the use of algorithms or artificial intelligence systems by Mobicacrew, for the elaboration of profiles and/or making decisions regarding access to the job offers offered, they will be carried out in a reliable and respectful manner with fundamental rights, following especially the recommendations of the European Union. Therefore, in the design and development of algorithms or artificial intelligence systems and in their subsequent use, including profiling, Mobicacrew undertakes to avoid that they contain discriminatory bias of any kind and for any of the conditions established by law.
